Kim Winterson has had a passion for fitness her whole life, and has been a fitness trainer since 1998. In 2000 she became one of the first Pilates trainers in greater Los Angeles, and shortly after began the Pilates program for the City of Manhattan Beach. She has since attained the highest levels of certification in personal training and Pilates, with specialties in core training, rehabilitation, sports conditioning, pre & post-pregnancy and weight loss. She owns, manages and trains at Manhattan Fitness near the corner of Rosecrans and Highland, where clients can get one-on-one training or participate in group classes. Kim graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, and she holds several fitness certificates including American Council on Exercise, and Stott Pilates. She keeps current on fitness trends by attending athletic workshops several times a year. Kim has run marathons, climbed 500-foot cliffs, hiked extensively throughout the US including Mt. Whitney, and is a golfer and skier. Her greatest joy is helping individuals at any fitness level feel better about themselves and their bodies.
